Business Analytics Quality Assurance Senior Manager

  • Perform and oversee SDLC tool configuration to meet the needs of BA, QA and Development teams.
  • Conduct SDLC audits within the tool set to ensure that all teams are abiding by prescribed polices.
  • Ensure all processes with regards to SDLC tool configuration/processes are well documented
  • Develop and manage GIT branching strategies across various inter-dependent large scale projects and aid with code merging issues
  • Work closely with the QA Manager especially during UAT and End to End testing cycles to determine, monitor, track environment(s) usage and code deployments
  • Serve as the Release coordinator and be the primary contact for everything release related
  • Creating, updating, publishing release calendars, enforcing critical due dates within a release such as requirements/code freezes, release documentation and release sign offs
  • Provide guidance to junior configuration and release management staff
  • Orchestration of all standard and non-standard releases (patches and hot fixes)
  • Provide in-house training and guidance to technical and non-technical teams in FICOH’s Agile process
  • Keep abreast of industry standards, technologies or methodologies

  • 4 year college degree or equivalent release management experience in a medium to large company and proven team collaboration experience using industry standard software development tools
  • 7+ years of development experience in an Agile environment or should have served as a Release Coordinator within an Agile environment
  • Must be familiar with release management and Agile concepts
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Ability to develop and adhere to project plans
  • Working knowledge of continuous integration/deployment tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity, and Octopus Deploy
  • Advanced experience working with GIT (including but not limited to using GIT command line, resolving conflicts, merging and rebasing)
  • Advanced proficiency in systems design or programming with specific skills in SDLC tools such as Atlassian
  • Proficiency in using data bases created by others and manipulating data through existing software or applications
Preferred Qualifications

  • Scrum Master Certification
  • DevOps experience
  • Experience in Property and Casualty Insurance industry
